Our furniture is manufactured in a series of steps. When an order is received, the correct species and length of wood is selected and cut by Christian, our machinist. Manie Styrdom, our Factory Manager, uses thirty years of experience to compose cutting lists that reduce waste. Our handcrafted furniture is then assembled. Finally, we finish the furniture to the client’s specification, including painting, varnishing, French polishing or German Osmo oil.
Manie and our Operations Manager, Martin Lucas, inspect items prior to despatch to verify quality and craftsmanship. Each piece is then stamped with their seal of approval before being packaged and sent, or exported, to our customers.
